I haven't been on DA for nearly two months--maybe you've noticed with the lack of activity from the group.
I just haven't felt the desire to be part of the DA community any more. To be honest, it's become more of an obligation than anything else. After all, I have a group to run, don't I? This group is the only reason I haven't closed my account. The thing is, I don't want it anymore. It's not that I don't love the group, but it's just not fun anymore. My daily routine's changed, the sites I visit have changed....I've changed. (Though I do still listen to the music that inspired this group.)
My question to you all is, is there anyone who'd like to take over the group? You could take ownership and run it as you will. I'm thinking of closing my account by next week, so you guys have until then to step forward.
If you follow me on my regular DA account, I haven't fully decided yet, but I may open another account so I can still have a place to post my art. (For more details, go to my personal account's journal posts.)
I really do hope someone steps forward to take control of this group!

Pete Wentz contest!
I got a message from ElectricSymptom (https://www.deviantart.com/electricsymptom) about a contest currently being hosted by Pete Wentz himself (though not here on DA).

Very important update!
There are new rules for submissions. Since I've asked you all to submit to the proper folders and only a few have followed through, YOU MUST NOW SUBMIT TO THE PROPER FOLDER AS A REQUIREMENT.
Any failure to submit to the correct folder will result in immediate declination.
I'm sorry for this, but there are too many deviations unsorted. I simply cannot keep sorting through them all. I promise, however, that I am not scary in any way. If you have any questions about submissions, message me. If you don't see a folder you think you need, let me know.
At this very moment, here's a list of all the folders and their specifications:

If you've been submitting deviations, but haven't been seeing them in the group, that may be because you didn't submit it to the correct folder. Please, please, please submit deviations to the proper folder. I'm very busy and it takes quite a bit of time to go through and sort them after they've been accepted. This doesn't meant that I won't accept the misplaced hopefuls. It'll just take longer to get them in the group. I'll have to find time so I can go through and put them in the right folders.
But if you want your future submissions to be accepted immediately, simply put them in the right folders.

oops. I just sent the message saying I was willing to run the group for you from my mums account because I forgot to logout of hers after submitting stuff for her(and just almost given her a heartattack). it was the message from octoberpoisons account. I just set it up for her so its gonna take some getting used to logging out an logging into a dufferent account. sorry for being a nuisance and wasteing your time. but once again I am more than willing to take the group.
